Big Match
Client wanted to create a new date in the sporting calendar by staging a big match at Twickenham Stadium to celebrate St George’s Day. The purpose was to significantly raise the profile of the club and help build the club’s casual support base and brand profile.
4th Dimension project-managed and oversaw the whole concept from beginning to end. This involved negotiation of Twickenham Stadium hire, feasibility analysis, business planning, sales and marketing strategy, event management, key stakeholder relationship and management.
This resulted in 60,208 people attending – a 500% increase on normal match day attendance.
Complete Club Strategy
Client wanted a business strategy and complete restructuring of their sports franchise with the key objective to become a sustainable club that is competitive in the championship of English club rugby.
4th Dimension conducted a full diagnostic to help develop a three year plan. This included the complete restructuring of the commercial and marketing functions, a new commercial and brand strategy, complete restructuring of the playing and performance department and recruitment of a new director of rugby.
