MoMedia adds four kids digital IPs to roster
UK-based digital distributor and content management agency MoMedia has signed agreements with a number of digital-first children’s entertainment brands.
Indian YouTube brand ChuChu TV has joined the MoMedia roster for distribution on both local and global transactional electronic sell-through and SVOD streaming platforms. ChuChu TV has more than 5.8 billion video views and 5.7 million subscribers.
Thirty-channel network Hooplakidz has also signed on with MoMedia. The network is owned by YoBoHo, which reaches more than three billion views each year (with Hooplakidz representing about two-thirds of those views).
Also heading under the MoMedia umbrella is language-education platform Badanamu (pictured) from Korea’s Calm Island. The integrated digital and physical platform for educational content is home to 200 unique educational videos, 200 storybooks with interactive apps and more than 150 learning games.
Lastly, a distribution deal was inked with Brazilian mobile developer Zeroum for the popular YouTube music brand Lottie Dottie Chicken.
MoMedia also recently signed the BAFTA-winning CBBC series Operation Ouch and Creative Media Partners’ series Sindbad & The 7 Galaxies. These brands join MoMedia’s digital distribution portfolio, which includes Outfit7′s Talking Tom and Friends and Zinkia’s Pocoyo.
With these recent agreements, MoMedia now manages five of the top-10 YouTube children’s brands.
